From the Distant Past, a laser art installation by German artist Tim Otto Roth. A green scanning laser projects spectra from distant galaxies onto the wall of the Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti in Venice, during the Science with the Hubble Space Telescope III conference in Venice, Italy, in October 2010.
